Kids nature path

These signs were placed alongside a path in an area of forest beside a children's hospital in south Stockholm. They highlight installations set up by Bee Urban, that shelter local wildlife and help increase biodiversity. Each sign includes a ‘mission’ to encourage visitors to look more closely.

Rock pile that offers crevices and crannies for wildlife, such as forest mice, lizards, frogs and insects, to take shelter.

Plants that invite pollinators, such as the ‘ruby tiger’, the common blue butterfly and buff-tailed earth bumblebees.

Bird boxes to encourage breeding of local birds such as the woodpecker, blue and great tit, owl, wagtail and black bird.

Log piles where fungi and moss break down the wood to support the natural life cycle, creating new micro-habitats for insects.
